BONNEVILLE News-Talk KTAR/PHOENIX is adding a new local show, "REALITY CHECK WITH DARIN DAMME," for 6-8p (MT) on JANUARY 3rd. DAMME formerly hosted morning shows as "KRAZY KID STEVENS" on crosstown Top 40 KZZP (104.7 KISS FM), KPTY (103.9 THE PARTY), and KZON (then 101.5 JAMZ, now KALV, LIVE 101.5); he replaces the "ARIZONA'S EVENING NEWS" hour and bumps the syndicated DAVE RAMSEY evening airing to 8p, although RAMSEY's midday slot will continue noon-2p.
"DARIN is an exciting talent who will bring a conservative voice and strong opinions that will represent the values of so many in the VALLEY," said VP/Content and Operations RYAN HATCH. "Born and raised in ARIZONA, he also has a passion to improve our community and deliver a voice for a better PHOENIX."
"This is a historic time in our country and our state and this opportunity is a dream come true as KTAR NEWS is the authority when it comes to informing the VALLEY," said DAMME. "My goal is to bring important stories to our listeners' attention, hold our leaders accountable, highlight what they're doing right and be the biggest thorn in their side when they aren't representing us to the standards we deserve."
