SHAMROCK COMMUNICATIONS/RENO, NV ups APD/MD CHRIS PAYNE to PD of Alternaive KRZQ and Rocker KZTI following the departure of Dir./Broadcast Operations WILLOBEE CARLAN on DECEMBER 2nd (NET NEWS 11/10).

GM KARA BROWN said, "PAYNE started his 27-year radio career as a part-time employee of KRZQ and over the years, through various ownership, has stayed with the station becoming THE voice and face of the radio station and finally has been named PD. PAYNE’s extensive knowledge of Alternative and Rock formats along with his overall passion for radio, makes him the perfect choice to head these stations."
