MIW Group Opens Applications For 2017 Mildred Carter Mentoring Program

Connecting Up-And-Comers With Industry Pros

The MENTORING & INSPIRING WOMEN IN RADIO (MIW) GROUP has opened the application window for the 2017 MILDRED CARTER MENTORING PROGRAM. Now in its 16th year, the program pairs up-and-coming women who currently work in the radio industry with female professionals recognized as leaders in all aspects of radio broadcasting and media.

"This provides a wonderful opportunity for mentees to gain valuable insight, knowledge and access to some of the most influential women in radio," 2017 MIW RADIO GROUP's Mentoring Committee Chair LINDSAY CERAJEWSKI said.

“As always, the MIWs anticipate another outstanding program in 2017," MIW Spokeswoman KAY OLIN said. "It is very rewarding to watch our Mentees grow professionally throughout the year thanks to the time, talent and wisdom shared generously by a very impressive roster of MIW mentoring volunteers."

A total of four candidates from the radio broadcasting industry -- within the sales, marketing, programming and digital disciplines -- will be selected for the 2017 program.
