CD102.5 For the Kids Thon December 9-11

WWCD LTD Alternative WWCD (CD102.5)/COLUMBUS, OH celebrates the 24th Annual "CD102.5 FOR THE KIDS THON" starting TONIGHT (12/9) at 7p (ET). Begun in 1992 by former longtime PD/afternooner ANDYMAN DAVIS, CD102.5 FOR THE KIDS THON has raised more than $1,000,000 in the past 23 years.

CD102.5 DJs will continue ANDYMAN’s tradition by encouraging listeners to call the studio and request songs to be played in exchange for donations to CD102.5 FOR THE KIDS. Donations will be collected throughout the weekend, ending SUNDAY, DECEMBER 11th at 7p.

CD102.5 Owner/Pres. RANDY MALLOY said, "CD102.5 as a locally owned business for 26 years has a long-standing tradition of being part of the COLUMBUS COMMUNITY. Being involved in the fabric of community is at the is at the heart and a core belief of what CD102.5 is all about. With the non-profit arm of the radio station CD102.5 FOR THE KIDS we strive to help the most in need and at risk population of our community, children. We are proud to call COLUMBUS our home and honored to serve the needs of our listeners, fans and community."

CD102.5 also will be hosting an auction on eBAY; auction items include items signed by WEEZER, THE 1975, CAGE THE ELEPHANT, SILVERSUN PICKUPS, COURTNEY BARNETT, and THE AVETT BROTHERS.
