Legendary Texas Record Promoter Sammy Alfano Has Passed Away

ALL ACCESS is saddened to report that HOUSTON-based promotion rep SAMMY ALFANO died this past SATURDAY (12/03) at his home following a battle with Stage 4 lung cancer and COPD. He was 73.

ALFANO had a long career in TEXAS working with a number of labels including ABC, ARIOLA, ELEKTRA/ASYLUM and lastly with his own independent promotion firm. 

SAMMY is survived by his children SAMMY Jr., PAIGE, TAMMY, TORI and DINO along with his many grandchildren, his brother, sister and his nephew, JOHN PROVENZANO.

Details on services and a memorial are being planned.
