More Than 13,000 Pounds Of Food

ALPHA MEDIA Classic Rock WYAV (WAVE 104.1)/MYRTLE BEACH, SC, held their MARATHON FOR MEALS during the week of NOVEMBER 12th-18th in support of the local HELPING HAND and COMMUNITY KITCHEN organizations.  More than 13,000 pounds of food donations were collected during the week-long drive. 

WAVE 104.1 personalities TOMMY and KORBY from the "T&A Morning Show," PREZ, SCOTT MANN and RICK ROBERTS broadcasted live from various locations including MYRTLE BEACH, SOCASTEE and SURFSIDE. 

ALPHA MEDIA MYRTLE BEACH Market Manager JOSH GERTZOG commented, “Once again, WAVE 104.1 and ALPHA MEDIA have shown why we are 'Live and Local.'  Each year we raise more and more food for the needy, and I could not be more proud to work with people so committed to the greater MYRTLE BEACH community.”
