RADIO ONE/CINCINNATI spent SATURDAY, DECEMBER 16th and SUNDAY, DECEMBER 17th collecting several hundred pairs of socks, gloves, jackets and hats for THE BOYS & GIRLS CLUB OF GREATER CINCINNATI.
To help some of the most at-risk young people, Top 40/Rhythmic WIZF (THE WIZ 101.1 FM) , Urban AC WOSL (OLD SCHOOL 100.3 FM) and Gospel WDBZ (PRAISE 1230 AM), along with KROGER, combined resources for the second year to raise awareness and collect winter necessities for the BOYS & GIRLS CLUB.
GM MITCH GALVIN stated, “No child should have to shiver through an OHIO winter. THE BOYS & GIRLS CLUB does so many amazing things for the youth of CINCINNATI that helping to collect winter supplies was the least we could do to support their year-round efforts.”
OLD SCHOOL 100.3 afternoon host and BOYS & GIRLS CLUB alumni, FREDD E. REDD, added, “Doing these kinds of events isn’t work. I walk away exhilarated, knowing that I made a small difference in the community. Nothing could be better than that.”
