AXS TV To Rebroadcast CMA Awards January 1st

AXS TV will broadcast a special encore presentation of “The 50th Annual CMA Awards," SUNDAY, JANUARY 1st at 8p (ET). 

Originally broadcast live from NASHVILLE on NOVEMBER 2nd, the ceremony honored the best of the year while showcasing five decades of Country Music legacy, hosted by BRAD PAISLEY and CARRIE UNDERWOOD.

Highlights from the gala included RANDY TRAVIS singing the last line of "Forever And Ever Amen," featuring 12 country legends, bringing many in the crowd to tears; TAYLOR SWIFT presentning CMA Entertainer Of The Year to GARTH BROOKS; MAREN MORRIS; moving acceptance speech after being named New Artist Of The Year; a surprise performance from BEYONCE, joining the DIXIE CHICKS for "Daddy Lessons," and a collaboration between ALAN JACKSON and GEORGE STRAIT. DOLLY PARTON received the WILLIE NELSON LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT AWARD and was serenaded by MARTINA McBRIDE, KACEY MUSGRAVES, JENNIFER NETTLES, REBA and CARRIE UNDERWOOD, kicked off by a cover of "Jolene" featuring PENTATONIX and NETTLES.
