Condolences to family and friends of longtime NEW JERSEY radio personality and producer MIKE LANDRY, who died MONDAY (12/16) at his home in COATESVILLE, PA after a long battle with prostate cancer and lymphoma at 70.
LANDRY (real name MITCH ELKINS) started his career at WEEZ-A/CHESTER, PA and worked at WPEN-A and WMGK/PHILADELPHIA before a decades-long stint at WKXW and WBUD-A/TRENTON, where he served as PD in WKXW's "KIX 101 AND A HALF" days and later hosted at WBUD and produced several shows at WKXW after its 1990 flip to Talk as NEW JERSEY 101.5.
