BLUE ROSE MUSIC founder JOE POLETTO has partnered with singer/songwriter/multi-instrumentalist JACKIE GREENE. BLUE ROSE MUSIC is an artist collective that brings a technology start-up structure to managing and developing artists. The venture will apply sophisticated branding and marketing strategies to increase GREENE’s touring business while providing creative support with a forward-leaning approach to recording and publishing.
GREENE’s debut album for the collective will be released later this year, with fans being treated to a stream of creative and musical content leading up to the street and digital release date. A full-length concert film of the singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist is also in the works, scheduled to film during his forthcoming "Sweetwater To Sweetwater" tour.
GREENE served as the lead guitarist for the BLACK CROWES “Lay Down With Number 13” worldwide tour, as leader (with JOAN OSBORNE) of the super group TRIGGER HIPPY and as a frequent member of GRATEFUL DEAD bassist PHIL LESH’s touring ensemble PHIL LESH & FRIENDS.
Founded by POLETTO (who has over three decades of experience in media and technology, serving at an executive level for MICROSOFT, WEBTV, HBO and COMEDY CENTRAL), the intention of BLUE ROSE MUSIC is to both "nurture and enable artists to reach their creative and financial goals while supporting each other in their craft." BLUE ROSE MUSIC donates a portion of all revenue to THE BLUE ROSE FOUNDATION, which provides pre-school scholarships to financially disadvantaged children.
Commented POLETTO “We are incredibly excited to have JACKIE join the BLUE ROSE MUSIC family. We are developing a new and previously un-charted type of business model in this industry that has been designed to benefit the artist in every way. Our goal is to encourage creativity and fiscal stability and I believe that all BLUE ROSE MUSIC artists will feel a sense of community and support during both the creation and release of their music. This is something that we can all be proud of.”
