Spotify Announces Three New Original Music Industry Podcasts

SPOTIFY is launching three new original podcasts about the music industry this year, the company announced TODAY (2/23). The music streaming service added podcasts last year and previously distributed one original podcast, "CLARIFY," with MIC and HEADCOUNT.ORG.
The new shows are "SHOWSTOPPER," a show on which TV music supervisors discuss music on TV shows, posting bi-weekly hosted by THE FADER's NAOMI ZEICHNER and produced with SLATE's PANOPLY network, launching TODAY (2/23); "UNPACKED," hosted by COMEDY CENTRAL "BROAD CITY" music supervisor MATT FX and SPOTIFY's MICHELE SANTUCCI and launching on MARCH 14th with a trip to SXSW; and "THE CHRIS LIGHTY STORY," about the music industry executive, produced with GIMLET MEDIA and LOUDSPEAKER NETWORK and debuting sometime in APRIL.
