Chicago Fire Spanish-Language Broadcasts Move To WRTO (Univision Deportes Radio)

The MLS' CHICAGO FIRE has inked a two-year deal to air its matches in Spanish on UNIVISION Spanish Sports WRTO-A (UNIVISION DEPORTES RADIO)/CHICAGO. UNIVISION CHICAGO Sports Director HECTOR LOZANO and returning color commentator RAQUEL ORTIZ will call the matches. The FIRE previously aired on Regional Mexican WEBG-HD2-W248BB (97.5 PODER)/HILLSIDE, IL-CHICAGO.
“Our Spanish-language broadcast is an important part of our media mix and we are excited to fully unify the sports landscape by bringing the CHICAGO FIRE to UNIVISION DEPORTES RADIO in CHICAGO,” said FIRE COO ATUL KHOSLA. “This as a great opportunity to ensure we reach the core of Spanish-speaking sports fans in CHICAGO by aligning with the station that carries each professional team in our market. We look forward to working with UNIVISION DEPORTES RADIO in CHICAGO and to hearing many HECTOR LOZANO goal calls throughout the coming years.”
