Country Duo The Sisterhood Signs With Sony Music Nashville

Country duo THE SISTERHOOD, comprised of ALYSSA BONAGURA and RUBY STEWART, have signed with SONY MUSIC NASHVILLE (SMN). Just prior to the start of their performance at NASHVILLE's 3RD & LINDSLEY venue on SATURDAY, JUNE 17th, SMN Chariman/CEO RANDY GOODMAN took the stage to introduce the pair and have them ink their official contracts in front of their audience.

BONAGURA is the daughter of KATHIE BAILLIE and MICHAEL BONAGURA, the core of the Country band BAILLIE & THE BOYS, while STEWART is the daughter of Rock icon ROD STEWART. The pair had returned from the U.K. the day before signing with SMN, where they had opened for ROD STEWART's 10-city stadium tour across the pond. The evening was a double celebration as it coincided with RUBY STEWART's birthday, wherein her father, ROD, sent a bagpipe player to add to the spirit of the occasion.
