NATIONAL CHRISTIAN NETWORK, INC. is selling W279DG/WEST PALM BEACH, FL to Q-BROADCASTING CORPORATION, INC. for $25,000.  The buyer plans to rebroadcast Spanish Hits WPSP-A (LA PRIMERA)/ROYAL PALM BEACH, FL with the translator.

In other filings with the FCC, CALIFORNIA STATE UNIVERSITY NORTHRIDGE has filed for an STA to operate noncommercial Triple A KCSN/NORTHRIDGE-LOS ANGELES with increased power for its IBOC HD RADIO signal.

As reported YESTERDAY (NET NEWS 7/5), PACIFIC RADIO GROUP, INC. has taken Sports KHLO-A/HILO and KKON-A (THE BIG ISLAND'S ESPN RADIO)/KEALAKEKUA-KONA, HI dark, and the licensee has now filed requests for Silent STAs for the stations, but the reason given to the FCC is that "licensee's programming source has altered its programming delivery options to utilize incompatible equipment."  The station aired ESPN RADIO before they were taken off the air.

EDUCATIONAL MEDIA FOUNDATION has applied for a Silent STA for K224DV/KALISPELL, MT after its tower fell over.

COMBINED COMMUNICATIONS, INC. has filed for an STA to operate KBND-A/BEND, OR nondirectionally with reduced power after "unauthorized construction of a dirt bike track around the transmitter site" damaged the ground system.

XANA OREGON, LLC has closed on the sale of Country KHKO/PRAIRIE CITY, OR to RANDOLPH and DEBRA MCKONE's KJDY, LLC for $60,000.

After a Consent Decree with a $6,000 fine settled charges of unauthorized transfer of control, KATHERINE M. BOHN has closed on the sale of News-Talk KVLI-A and Classic Rock KRVQ-F (104.5 THE RIVER)/LAKE ISABELLA, CA and Country KCNQ/KERNVILLE, CA to ALTA SIERRA BROADCASTING, LLC for $300,000.

YING BENNS' WFLI, INC. has closed on the sale of Silent WFLI-A/LOOKOUT MOUNTAIN-CHATTANOOGA, TN to EVAN STONE and MARSHALL BANDY's TRI-STATE COMMUNICATIONS, INC. for $100,000.

And SKY HIGH BROADCASTING, INC. has closed on the swap of K269GF/EL PASO, TX to ONE MINISTRIES, INC., which in turn has swapped K240ER/EL PASO to MCCLATCHEY BROADCASTING, permittee of KELP-A/EL PASO.  SKY HIGH and MCCLATCHEY are both owned by ARNOLD MCCLATCHEY.
