BROADCASTING & PROGRAMMING SYSTEMS OF PUERTO RICO, INC. is selling Rock WCAD (ALFA ROCK 106)/SAN JUAN and its boosters in FAJARDO and JUANA DIAZ, PR to EDUCATIONAL MEDIA FOUNDATION for $2.9 million.
In other filings with the FCC, RUSSELL S. KIMBLE AND PATRICIA J. ANDERSON PARTNERSHIP is selling W288CS/FAIRPORT, NY (with a CP to move to ROCHESTER) to LESTER PACE and MANNY BELLA's BLUELIGHT COMMUNICATIONS LLC for $650,000 ($550,000 in a 6% 5-year promissory note); the station comes with a Time Brokerage and Program Services Agreement. with ENTERCOM which has a stipulation that the parties have to wait a year before assigning it. The seller also has a consulting agreement with BRIAN P. MCGLYNN, who will get 40% of the purchase price. The primary station is listed as ENTERCOM Rock WBZA (98.9 THE BUZZ)/ROCHESTER, which also airs Blues on its HD2 channel.
