Report: Green Day, Manager Pat Magnarella Split After 21 Years

GREEN DAY and longtime manager PAT MAGNARELLA have parted ways after 21 years, according to a report in VARIETY.
The ENCINITAS, CA-based MAGNARELLA has been, the band’s manager since 1996. The report says the group is set to sign with CRUSH MUSIC's JONATHAN DANIEL, home of SIA, FALL OUT BOY, LORDE, COURTNEY LOVE, TRAIN, ANDREW McMAHON IN THE WILDERNESS, PANIC! AT THE DISCO, KIESZA and WEEZER, who were also once managed by MAGNERELLA.
MAGNARELLA, who started managing GREEN DAY two years after their breakthrough "Dookie" album, served as a producer on several band projects, including the cast album for “AMERICAN Idiot,” and also ran BILLIE JOE ARMSTRONG’s independent label ADELINE RECORDS, whose roster included the GOO GOO DOLLS, AFI and the ALL-AMERICAN REJECTS over time.
CRUSH also represents writers and producers and includes a publishing arm and a label.
