AZTEC CAPITAL PARTNERS has changed FM translator simulcast partners for Spanish Hits WHAT-A (EL ZOL)/PHILADELPHIA, switching from W246AQ/COLLINGSWOOD, NJ to W260CZ/PHILADELPHIA.
W260CZ, with 50 watts from a utility tower in the JUNIATA PARK neighborhood of NORTH PHILADELPHIA, is the former W273CM/CLAYTON, NJ, purchased from WYRS BROADCASTING for $10,000 last year. The station was briefly W221DS/PHILADELPHIA and changed frequencies due to complaints of potential interference with CLEAR COMMUNICATIONS, INC. Oldies WVLT/VINELAND, NJ; it is now co-channel with HAVERFORD HIGH SCHOOL noncommercial WHHS/HAVERTOWN in the MAIN LINE suburbs and further-distant CONNOISSEUR MEDIA Classic Rock WODE (99.9 THE HAWK)/EASTON, PA, heard in the northern PHILADELPHIA suburbs.
