SONY/ATV MUSIC PUBLISHING has extended its worldwide deal with L.A.-based singer and songwriter ILSEY JUBER.
The new agreement includes global hits such as SHAWN MENDES’ “Mercy,” MARTIN GARRIX's “In The Name Of Love” (featuring BEBE REXHA) and PITBULL's “Fireball” as well as her contributions to recent chart-topping albums by BEYONCE, DRAKE and LINKIN PARK, as well as future compositions.
SONY/ATV Co-President, U.S. RICK KRIM said: “ILSEY is an incredible songwriter who has already worked with so many great artists and we are proud to have been part of that success. I am excited that we will continue our relationship with her and to see where her writing takes her next.”
SONY/ATV VP Creative TYLER CHILDS added: “ILSEY is family to us at SONY/ATV. We've watched her grow into one of the most sought-after songwriters in the world today. We’re thrilled to continue our work together.”
JUBER, who has been with SONY/ATV since 2010, said: “I’m so happy to be staying at home with my SONY/ATV family. Everyone here has always encouraged my work and I can’t wait to see what else we can accomplish together.”
JUBER's manager, EVAN TAUBENFELD, Head Of A&R at CRUSH MUSIC, added, “SONY/ATV has been with Ilsey since day one and though we’ve accomplished an incredible amount together, she’s only getting started!”
JUBER co-wrote SHAWN MENDES' 2016 single, "Mercy," which became a transatlantic Top 20 hit and was recognized for 2 million equivalent sales by the RIAA in the U.S. where it has sold 1 million downloads and achieved more than 160 million audio streams. She co-penned MARTIN GARRIX’s RIAA-certified million-seller “In The Name Of Love” (featuring BEBE REXHA), which reached the U.K. Top 10 and topped BILLBOARD’s Dance Club Songs chart, while her other notable hits include MAJOR LAZER's “Powerful” featuring ELLIE GOULDING and PITBULL's “Fireball” featuring JOHN RYAN.
JUBER reached #1 in the U.S. for a second time this year after co-writing two songs on LINKIN PARK’s album "One More Light."
Among the other artists who she has worked with are NOAH CYRUS, FIFTH HARMONY, NICK JONAS, MAJID JORDAN, KASKADE, DUA LIPA, JENNIFER LOPEZ and TINASHE.
