Alan Jackson, Chris Stapleton Added To 'ACM Honors' Performance Lineup

EMI NASHVILLE's ALAN JACKSON and MERCURY NASHVILLE's CHRIS STAPLETON have been added to the already-stout lineup of performers for next WEEK's "11TH ANNUAL ACM HONORS." JACKSON and STAPLETON join previously announced performers KELSEA BALLERINI, VINCE GILL, TOBY KEITH, LITTLE BIG TOWN, MAREN MORRIS, BRAD PAISLEY, THOMAS RHETT, HILLARY SCOTT, and GEORGE STRAIT for the show, which will take place at the RYMAN AUDITORIUM in NASHVILLE on WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 23rd (NET NEWS 8/9). The celebration will then be broadcast on CBS-TV on FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 15th at 9p (ET/PT).
Additionally, JASON ALDEAN, BOBBY BONES, ROSS COPPERMAN, LADY ANTEBELLUM, JIMMY WEBB, GILL, LITTLE BIG TOWN, MORRIS, PAISLEY, and SCOTT will serve as presenters for the previously-announced honorees in the ACM Industry Award (NET NEWS 6/27), Studio Recording Award (NET NEWS 6/29), and Special Award (NET NEWS 5/30) categories. CMT-TV's "NASHVILLE" stars CLARE BOWEN and CHARLES ESTEN, as well as BIG MACHINE LABEL GROUP's CASSADEE POPE and BRETT YOUNG will also participate via special off-camera moments during the ceremony.
