KROQ/Los Angeles OM Gene Sandbloom Announces His Exit

CBS RADIO Alternative KROQ/LOS ANGELES OM GENE SANDBLOOM went on FACEBOOK to announce to his friends that he will be exiting the station next week.

"After 25 years at KROQ, I'll be leaving next week," he wrote. "It's been an amazing run, and throw in MD at KIIS-FM, A&R Director at MCA RECORDS and Managing Editor of NETWORK 40 MAGAZINE, that's 35 years in the Music Biz in L.A. It's time to move on."

Next month, SANDBLOOM notes that he plans on spending some time in the SIERRAS, then traveling to CUBA and FRANCE.
