The '11th Annual ACM Honors' Celebrate Industry, Showcase Artists

The "11TH ANNUAL ACM HONORS" were held at the RYMAN AUDITORIUM in NASHVILLE last NIGHT (8/23) to recognize each of the previously announced winners of non-televised awards in Industry Award (NET NEWS 6/27) and Studio Recording Award (NET NEWS 6/29) categories, as well as the Special Award (NET NEWS 5/30) category recipients. Special Award honorees were filmed during last night's ceremony and will be aired on CBS-TV on FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 15th at 9p (ET/PT) (NET NEWS 8/9).
Performances to be broadcast include HILLARY SCOTT of LADY ANTEBELLUM teaming with KAREN FAIRCHILD and KIMBERLY SCHLAPMAN of LITTLE BIG TOWN to sing some of REBA MCENTIRE's greatest hits; KELSEA BALLERINI performing her current single, "Legends," as well as a medley of her three chart-topping hits; CHRIS JANSON performing "A Boy Named Sue" and "Cover Of The Rolling Stone" in tribute to SHEL SIVERSTEIN; TOBY KEITH with a medley of his own hits; MAREN MORRIS paying tribute to GLEN CAMPBELL with "GALVESTON;" BRAD PAISLEY singing "My TENNESSEE Mountain Home" in honor of DOLLY PARTON; THOMAS RHETT playing "Die A Happy Man" and "Craving You" before BOB KINGSLEY was presented with his award; LITTLE BIG TOWN performing their current LORI MCKENNA-penned single, "When Someone Stops Loving You," in honor of MCKENNA; and a tribute to ICON AWARD winner GEORGE STRAIT that included performances from CHRIS STAPLETON, ALAN JACKSON, and THE KING himself.
