Kudos to EMI NASHVILLE's ERIC CHURCH BAND, whose sixth annual "PUT A CLUB IN MY HAND" golf tournament raised $203,818 for MUSICARES, the charitable arm of THE RECORDING ACADEMY. MUSICARES provides a safety net of assistance to those in the music industry to help with medical, financial, and personal emergencies. The all-day event included 156 golfers participating in an 18-hole scramble. Golfers consisted of artists, musicians, tour staff, music industry professionals, and more.
The BAND's invitation-only tournament was held MONDAY, AUGUST 21st at GAYLORD SPRINGS GOLF LINKS in NASHVILLE. The fundraising event also included a charity silent auction, including memorabilia and experiences from CHURCH, CARRIE UNDERWOOD, TAYLOR SWIFT, GARTH BROOKS, and many more. This year's success brings the total raised by the "PUT A CLUB IN MY HAND" events to nearly $850,000 since its inception in 2012.
