SCRIPPS MEDIA's MILWAUKEE stations -- News-Talk WTMJ-A, Country WKTI (94.5 KTI COUNTRY), and NBC affiliate WTMJ-TV (TODAY’S TMJ4) -- are holding a "Taking Action For TEXAS" fundraiser TODAY collecting donations for Hurricane HARVEY disaster relief. The stations are hosting a fundraising phone bank to collect donations for the AMERICAN RED CROSS.
"People in WISCONSIN are looking for a way that they can help the victims of the Hurricane,” said SCRIPPS RADIO/MILWAUKEE VP/GM and SCRIPPS corporate VP, News-Talk-Sports TOM LANGMYER. “Using the power of local media we can combine our efforts to enable giving on a large scale and truly make a difference to support the AMERICAN RED CROSS.”
100% of the donations collected during today's campaign will support the AMERICAN RED CROSS response to the hurricane.
