ALL ACCESS congratulates RCA NASHVILLE's OLD DOMINION for a #1 debut on this week's Country album sales chart with "Happy Endings." The band's sophomore release had a happy beginning, too, selling 41,000 units - 31,000 in traditional album sales - in its first week, according to NIELSEN SOUNDSCAN.
Powered by the lead single, "No Such Thing As A Broken Heart," which also tops the MEDIABASE Country singles chart this week (NET NEWS 9/5), "Happy Endings" also starts strong on the all-genre album sales chart, checking in at #3 in traditional album sales, and #7 in multi-metric consumption. TODAY's (9/5) sales results, and the band's perch atop the singles chart, comes on the heels of YESTERDAY's CMA nominations for OLD DOMINION, which received nods for New Artist and Vocal Group of the YEAR (NET NEWS 9/4).
