REBA MCENTIRE will host the eighth annual "CMA COUNTRY CHRISTMAS" program, to be taped on TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 14th at the GRAND OLE OPRY HOUSE in NASHVILLE. The show will then air as a two-hour holiday special MONDAY, NOVEMBER 27th at 8p (ET) on ABC-TV.
"CHRISTMAS is such a special time," said MCENTIRE. "It reminds me of growing up in OKLAHOMA and singing carols with my family; I’m just tickled to join a group of some of my best Country buddies onstage to celebrate the holiday season. This is where my love of music began.” MCENTIRE will perform songs of the season, along with a lineup of stars to be announced soon.
"REBA epitomizes Country and the cheer of the holiday season,” said CMA CEO SARAH TRAHERN. “She’s also the most nominated female in CMA Awards history, so the fit couldn’t be more perfect.” Tickets for the taping go on sale FRIDAY, OCTOBER 6th here. Additionally, MCENTIRE will release "My Kind Of Christmas," a package which features collaborations with VINCE GILL, DARIUS RUCKER, AMY GRANT, KELLY CLARKSON, and TRISHA YEARWOOD. The collection streets FRIDAY, OCTOBER 13th on NASH ICON RECORDS.
