ALL ACCESS extends condolences to PREMIERE NETWORKS nationally syndicated "CMT AFTER MIDNITE WITH CODY ALAN" and "CMT RADIO LIVE WITH CODY ALAN" host CODY ALAN, whose father, RANDY CHAVIS, passed away YESTERDAY (9/19).

"He was a good man who loved his family," shared ALAN via INSTAGRAM. "Like me, he also loved music. Not a day of my childhood went by that he wasn't playing music in the house. I often share that it was because of my Dad that I became passionate for music and interested in radio. Even as a toddler, I loved to wear his big stereo headphones! He also loved to laugh, and always had a witty comeback. He was a good natured person, who had to sacrifice at times for others. At one point, he sold some of his beloved record collection to provide for our CHRISTMAS. I know he loved me, my family, and was proud of my accomplishments. In some ways, I've very much lived the professional dreams he always wanted. More importantly though, he was good to me, always. I never doubted his heart was in the right place throughout my life.
