CONNOISSEUR MEDIA Top 40 WRTS (STAR 104) ERIE, PA found a clever way to help their community raise funds in order to send a local high school's marching band all the way to PEARL HARBOR, HAWAII, to play for military troops who are stationed there.
The station raffled off a performance by the FAIRVIEW HIGH marching band, which was won by local resident DAN ROUDYBUSH who, it should be noted, loves to play pranks on his older brother, ERIC. He arranged for the band to come to his brother's home last week and wake him up in style just before 7 a.m. (with a combination of "Reville" and "Eye Of The Tiger").
As the band marched through his living room, the elder ROUDYBUSH told GOERIE.COM, "I kept thinking, 'They've got the wrong house'." Watch the fun unfold here.
The fundraiser brought in about $700 for the band.
