Cox Media Group Ups Rob Babin To Regional VP/Radio, Ray Carter To Regional VP/TV

COX MEDIA GROUP has upped its MIAMI radio cluster VP/GM ROB BABIN to Regional VP/Radio, reporting to EVP BILL HENDRICH and adding oversight of the company's HOUSTON, LONG ISLAND, SAN ANTONIO, and TAMPA radio clusters along with MIAMI.
Also seeing a promotion is NBC affiliate WPXI-TV/PITTSBURGH VP/GM RAY CARTER, to Regional VP/Television, reporting to EVP JANE WILLIAMS and adding responsibility for FOX affiliate WFXT-TV/BOSTON, ABC affiliate WSOC-TV and independent WAXN-TV/CHARLOTTE, FOX affiliate WHBQ-TV (FOX 13, and CBS affiliate KIRO-TV/SEATTLE.
“During his career, ROB has been a strong leader for CMG in ORLANDO, ATLANTA and MIAMI,” said HENDRICH. “He has grown in leadership roles through his ability to hire and develop talented team members, create world-class work environments and deliver results. We are fortunate to have many talented leaders at CMG to consider for critical roles like this. ROB’s understanding of the opportunities ahead, his ability to make positive connections with people and his track record of delivering results equip him to do a fantastic job as our Regional VP.”
