GARTH BROOKS won his sixth career, and second consecutive, CMA Entertainer Of The Year award, while CHRIS STAPLETON and the BROTHERS OSBORNE were each double winners, during last night’s (11/8) "51ST ANNUAL CMA AWARDS."
MIRANDA LAMBERT took home a record seventh career Female Vocalist Of The Year trophy, and CARRIE UNDERWOOD brought the crowd – and television viewers – to tears while singing "Softly And Tenderly" during a segment honoring industry leaders who have passed, and in remembrance of the 58 victims from last month’s LAS VEGAS tragedy. The annual celebration of Country music was held at NASHVILLE’s BRIDGESTONE ARENA and was televised live on ABC-TV.
