WPYX/Albany Airs Vets Rock Broadcast

iHEARTMEDIA Classic Rock WPYX (PYX 106)/ALBANY will hold the 5th annual VETS ROCK broadcast featuring 11 local military service men and women –- including a husband-and-wife team. The selected veterans will DJ their own hour-long broadcast sharing stories of VIETNAM, IRAQ, AFGHANISTAN and other personal military experiences.

VETS ROCK started with a special segment on the QUINN & CANTARA Morning Show from 9-10a, and will continue from 10a-7p on VETERANS DAY –- SATURDAY, NOV. 11th. In addition, PYX 106 will feature the VETS ROCK Podcast on iHEARTRADIO, giving vet DJs an additional platform to be heard on this year.
