While the radio world is focusing on today's closing of the ENTERCOM-CBS RADIO deal and changes coming with that transaction, no other station deals have shown up this morning in the FCC database, although it does feature some closings and Silent STA filings.
Among the filings, FMI MEDIA, INC. has requested a Silent STA for KCNL/QUARTZSITE, AZ due to a technical issue with the station's transmission equipment.
AMERICAN FAMILY ASSOCIATION has filed for a Silent STA for KKNL/VALENTINE, NE because the station is "not able to sustain itself financially." The licensee is seeking a buyer for the station.
PACIFIC RADIO GROUP, INC. has closed on the donation of Silent KKON-A/KEALAKEKUA, HI and KHLO-A/HILO, HI to FIRST ASSEMBLY KING'S CATHEDRAL AND CHAPELS. The donation is being valued at $195,500.
