ENTERCOM News KYW-A/PHILADELPHIA and COMCAST donated ten new DELL Latitude Education Series laptops to GENERAL PHILIP KEARNY ELEMENTARY SCHOOL in PHILADELPHIA as part of KYW and COMCAST's series of community outreach efforts on broadband for schools.
“I am truly honored to lead in a community of learners where we are all working to support our scholars and to provide them with every opportunity to excel,” said school Principal SABRINA SCOTT-FEGGINS.

KYW NEWSRADIO’s partnership with COMCAST, allows us to support local community organizations like GENERAL PHILIP KEARNY ELEMENTARY SCHOOL in their commitment to education,” said KYW Dir./News and Programming and News Format Captain STEVE BUTLER.
“Having Internet at home and knowing how to use it is much more than a convenience, it is essential,” said COMCAST Internet Essentials Sr. Manager NICOLAS JIMENEZ. “Through Internet Essentials, we are making a positive impact on the digital divide by connecting low-income households to the Internet at an affordable rate, making it possible for them to own their own connected device, and providing digital literacy training in print, online and in person.”
