'CMA Country Christmas' A Ratings Winner, Says CMA

Television ratings for ABC-TV's "CMA COUNTRY CHRISTMAS" grew by 19% in total viewers over the 2016 edition, according to a release from the COUNTRY MUSIC ASSOCIATION (CMA), which did not cite a measurement source. The CMA says MONDAY's (11/27) telecast, hosted by REBA MCENTIRE, drew 8.2 million viewers, up from 6.9 last year.
The increase was greater among adults 18-49, which saw a 20% increase, its best performance since 2014. Additionally, says the CMA, FACEBOOK and TWITTER interactions were up 53% year-to-year. A re-broadcast of "CMA COUNTRY CHRISTMAS" is set for SATURDAY, DECEMBER 23rd at 8p (ET) on the ABC Television Network.
