COMMUNITY BROADCASTERS/FT. WALTON BEACH, FL OM MATT STONE has resigned, effective FRIDAY, DECEMBER 29th. In addition to oversight of the four-station cluster, STONE handled day-to-day programming for Country WHWY (HIGHWAY 98), Adult Hits WWAV (102.1 THE WAVE), and Alternative WZLB (103.1 THE BLAZE). Prior to moving to FT. WALTON BEACH two years ago, STONE was APD/mornings at LOCAL MEDIA SAN DIEGO Alternative XETRA-F (91X)/SAN DIEGO (NET NEWS 12/7/15).
STONE told ALL ACCESS, "I will be pursuing voicetrack options and starting my own business outside of radio. Exciting times. I have been going to a radio station daily for 20 years this year. It will be a big change not walking into a studio everyday, but I am sincerely looking forward to what’s next! I can’t wait. Happy Holidays to all, and here’s to a great 2018!" Reach STONE here.
