Affiliates of TALK RADIO NETWORK tell ALL ACCESS that programming from the network disappeared from the satellite without notice last FRIDAY (12/22). The programming is also missing from the network's on-line stream. E-mails to company CEO MARK MASTERS were returned as undeliverable and calls to the company's phone number returned a message that the phone has been disconnected.
The syndicator was founded in 1993 and in earlier days distributed ART BELL, MICHAEL SAVAGE, and LAURA INGRAHAM's shows. More recently, TRN distributed shows with actor ROBERT DAVI (the replacement for the late JERRY DOYLE) and SAM SORBO and several weekend shows.
In SEPTEMBER, the company filed an appeal of the dismissal of its antitrust lawsuit against CUMULUS MEDIA, WESTWOOD ONE, COMPASS MEDIA NETWORKS, WYD MEDIA MANAGEMENT/WYM MEDIA MANAGEMENT, LEW DICKEY, and CHARLES STEINHAUER.
Dr. MICHIO KAKU, whose weekend "SCIENCE FANTASTIC" show was distributed by TRN, has moved to GENESIS COMMUNICATIONS NETWORK.
I've gotten numerous calls about my national science radio show, Science Fantastic. Sorry for the confusion. The show has been moved over to the Genesis Communication Network, https://t.co/urAlDxu3VH. It will continue to be sent up to the satellite on Saturdays.
