WOODWARD BROADCASTING, INC. is selling Country KSUM-A and Classic Rock KFMC-F/FAIRMONT, MN to CITY OF LAKES MEDIA, INC. for $800,000.
In other filings with the FCC, KEVIN J. YOUNGERS is selling K225CA/DEL VALLE, TX to EDUCATIONAL MEDIA FOUNDATION for $325,000. EMF plans to rebroadcast Christian AC KVLR (K-LOVE)/SUNSET VALLEY-AUSTIN, TX with the translator.
WENDOLYNN TELLEZ is selling K243BO/ROMA, TX and K225CE/HILLSBORO, TX to CENTRO CRISTIANO DE VIDA ETERNA for $100,000. The translators will rebroadcast Spanish Religion KUBR-A/SAN JUAN, TX and KHFX-A/CLEBURNE, TX, respectively.

SCOTT HENNEN and STEVEN HALLSTROM have closed on the buyout of their partners in BAKKEN BEACON MEDIA, LLC, licensee of News-Talk WZFG-A (AM 1100 THE FLAG)/DILWORTH, MN-FARGO, ND and News-Talk KTGO-A (BAKKEN BEACON)/TIOGA, ND, for $538,130 ($100,000 cash, $438,130 in deferred payments under a promissory note). HENNEN goes from 22.6% to 50% equity, while HALLSTROM goes from 0% to 50%. GREGORY BUTLER, EUGENE GRANER, FRED EVANS, KATHLEEN NESET, and WALTER GROTTE are the selling partners.
DAYSTAR PUBLIC RADIO, INC. has closed on the sale of Jazz WKSG (89.5 THE BOULEVARD)/CEDAR CREEK-OCALA, FL to COMMUNITY COMMUNICATIONS, INC. for $900,000.
