ALL ACCESS extends well-wishes to Country icon KENNY ROGERS, who has canceled the remainder of his 2018 tour dates following a series of health challenges. ROGERS was set to complete his "GAMBLER'S LAST DEAL TOUR," which he announced in 2015 (NET NEWS 9/25/15). ROGERS previously postponed dates on the farewell tour in 2016 (NET NEWS 3/15/16); ROGERS was feted in NASHVILLE during "ALL IN FOR THE GAMBLER: KENNY ROGERS' FAREWELL CONCERT CELEBRATION" in OCTOBER (NET NEWS 10/26/17).
While no details have been given surrounding ROGERS' ailments, FOX CAROLINA reports that "doctors expect a positive outcome but recommended he cancel the tour to focus on recuperation." In a statement to FOX CAROLINA, ROGERS said, "I didn't want to take forever to retire. I've thoroughly enjoyed this opportunity to say farewell to the fans over the course of the past two years on 'THE GAMBLER'S LAST DEAL' tour. I could never properly thank them for the encouragement and support they've given me throughout my career and the happiness I've experienced as a result of that."
