A new documentary film "Long Live Rock...Celebrate the Chaos" will feature candid interviews with rock’s most influential artists, including members of METALLICA, GUNS N' ROSES, SLIPKNOT, KORN, FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH, and hot new rockers GRETA VAN FLEET.
The film is directed by JONATHAN MCHUGH (NETFLIX's "Cosplay Universe"), who said, "Growing up in STATEN ISLAND, NY as a kid sneaking into MADISON SQUARE GARDEN to see legends like BLACK SABBATH, KISS & LED ZEPPELIN, I knew there was only one type of music for me. When I grew up and got a job in the record promotion business in the early '90s, one of my first gigs was trying to get METALLICA's 'Enter Sandman’ on mainstream radio, which was a severe challenge due to the hard rock stereotype. When we succeeded, I thought it had come full circle, but now getting the chance to make this film and tell these often-maligned fans’ stories is truly amazing for me."
The film will follow passionate American rock fans as they put their lives on hold to reunite with their “rock family” at some of the greatest rock fests in the country. GARY SPIVACK of DANNY WIMMER PRESENTS (one of the films producers) said, “It only seems fitting to invite the fans to collaborate on the creation of what I see as a love letter to our favorite genre of music."
