Koz To Afternoons, Alexander In Nights On WNUA

Blows Into The Windy City In 2 Weeks

CLEAR CHANNEL/CHICAGO VP/Programming & Operations DARREN DAVIS announced today that Smooth Jazz recording artist DAVE KOZ will host afternoon drive on WNUA/CHICAGO from 2-7p beginning DECEMBER 11.

"DAVE is one of the biggest smooth jazz artists, and his radio show has always been very highly rated on WNUA weekends, and all around AMERICA," said DAVIS. "The combination of GRAMMY AWARD winner RAMSEY LEWIS in morning drive and GRAMMY AWARD nominee DAVE KOZ hosting afternoons is a great feather in WNUA’s cap and a great deal for WNUA listeners."

Also at the station, DANAE ALEXANDER, who has hosted afternoons on WNUA for almost a year, returns to "Lights Out CHICAGO" from 7p-midnight weekdays. "DANAE built the 'Lights Out CHICAGO' show into a ratings leader for nearly 20 years," said DAVIS. "She accepted the challenge earlier this year of boosting our afternoon show ratings, and did just that. I’m so grateful once again to have DANAE ready to work her magic at night and make 'Lights Out CHICAGO' sparkle as only DANAE can do."
