LIVE NATION reported that Q2 revenue was up 7% to $2.9 billion, with adjusted operating income (AOI) up 18% to $260 million. All businesses delivered double-digit operating income and AOI growth -- and are expected to deliver double-digit operating income and AOI growth for the year
LIVE NATION concerts sold 70 million tickets this year from JANUARY to JUNE, three million more than this point last year. At that rate, over 90 million fans will attend more than 32,000 concerts this year. On the TICKETMASTER front, Mobile fee-bearing ticket sales are up 34% for the year, accounting for 40% of all fee-bearing ticket sales, with mobile conversion up double-digits. The number of events listed on TICKETMASTER increased by 16% this year to almost 280,000 events through JUNE.
