Podcast and dynamic ad insertion platform ART19 has inked an agreement to serve as host for NEW YORK MEDIA's podcast content. NEW YORK MEDIA is the publisher of NEW YORK MAGAZINE and its web entities, including VULTURE, THE CUT, and GRUB STREET.
“We’re making a big bet on comedy,” said NEW YORK MEDIA Chief Product Officer DANIEL HALLAC, whose company acquired comedy site SPLITSIDER and incorporated the content into the VULTURE pop culture site. “ART19’s technology will allow us to leverage our significant back catalog as well as new series we’ll be launching on the platform.”
“Comedy is a big part of our origin story,” said ART19 Pres./Content RODDY SWEARNGIN. “The company was founded to solve problems comedy podcasters were having monetizing their rapidly growing audiences. NEW YORK MEDIA and VULTURE are raising the bar and we’re thrilled to be a part of their strategy.”
