KEXP/Seattle Gets Behind Pearl Jam's Effort To Fight Homelessness

FRIENDS OF KEXP Triple A KEXP/SEATTLE has partnered with PEARL JAM to fight against homelessness in SEATTLE. The band's Home Shows at SAFECO FIELD on WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 8th and FRIDAY, AUGUST 10th are shining a spotlight on the problem and solutions to homelessness, joining a number of businesses, individuals, government agencies, and foundations who are collaborating to tackle the public health crisis.

Before that, KEXP presented a day of music on WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 1st to increase awareness of the an in-studio session with SEATTLE-based musician BADB, who shared experience with homelessness in SEATTLE. The station also aired a guest DJ set from MIKE MCCREADY of PEARL JAM on The Afternoon Show with DJ KEVIN COLE.
