WGOW-F/Chattanooga Host Jeff Styles Posts Website, Podcast To Tell His Side Of Road Rage Incident, Arrest

CUMULUS News-Talk WGOW-F/CHATTANOOGA "MORNING PRESS" host JEFF STYLES, who was shot in the arm and then arrested in a road rage incident on JUNE 15th, has posted a website and podcast to publicize his side of the incident.

The police charged STYLES with aggravated assault and vandalism for allegedly getting out of his car and approaching the other driver with a tomahawk, at which point the other driver shot STYLES.  At the website, jeffstylesamerica.com, and in the podcast, STYLES claims that after over 14 miles of the other driver speeding and trying to run him off the road, he "exited my car with arms outstretched in a beseeching manner...but also, in this instance, an 'I'm OVER this!' manner...a line any real man would finally reach after being chased, threatened, run off the road and consistently shown the distinctive finger/thumb combo 'I'LL SHOOT YOU' hand gesture, would eventually cross."  He denies advancing on the other driver or swinging the tool, and features several mug shots of the other man from several arrests.

NBC affiliate WRCB-TV reports that STYLES is on unpaid leave from WGOW while awaiting a trial.
