Yesi Ortiz Named MD At KAMP/Los Angeles

ENTERCOM Top 40 KAMP (97.1 AMP RADIO)/LOS ANGELES ups midday host YESI ORTIZ to MD.  She joined the station in APRIL 2018. ORTIZ replaces former MD MICHELLE BOROS, who exited the station earlier this year.

“We are very proud of YESI’s on-air work since joining us earlier this year,” said JEFF FEDERMAN, SVP/Market Manager, ENTERCOM LOS ANGELES. “She has been a respected leader in the music community for many years and we look forward to her expanding her duties as 97.1 AMP RADIO’s Music Director.” 

“I remain so thankful for the opportunities AMP has given me since I joined the station,” added ORTIZ. “I do not take this testament of trust lightly, and I remain committed to helping this station grow each and every day.”

Prior to joining ENTERCOM, ORTIZ was midday host and AMD for crosstown Top 40/Rhythmic KPWR (POWER 106). She also held on-air roles in LAS VEGAS and SAN DIEGO.
