  Condolences to the family and friends of longtime KQV/PITTSBURGH and KLUV/DALLAS radio star CHUCK BRINKMAN who died FRIDAY (8/24) surrounded by family at his home in PLANO, TX. He was 83.
  
  BRINKMAN is fondly remembered as the STEEL CITY's version of DICK CLARK with a TV presence on WTAE Channel 4. He was mainstay in the 1960s who became one of PITTSBURGH’s most popular Top 40 DJs.
  
  BRINKMAN’s son, JONATHON BRINKMAN, said his father had been suffering from Parkinson’s disease.
