WICC/Bridgeport, CT Joins UConn Men's, Women's Basketball Radio Network

CUMULUS News-Talk WICC-A/BRIDGEPORT is joining IMG's UNIVERSITY OF CONNECTICUT men's and women's basketball radio networks this season.  The station will carry all games plus pre- and post-game shows and coaches' shows.

For the past three decades, UCONN basketball has been the most successful NCAA college hoops programs in the NORTHEAST and we look forward to the 2018-2019 season as coaches (legendary women's coach GENO) AURIEMMA and (men's coach DAN) HURLEY continue that legendary run!”

The network, previously headed at then-CBS RADIO News-Talk WTIC-A/HARTFORD, has moved its flagship to iHEARTMEDIA Sports WUCS (ESPN 97.9)/HARTFORD this season.
