The FCC's Enforcement Bureau has settled with a pirate FM operator in MIAMI, reaching a Consent Decree that will see SERGIO PLASENCIA pay a $2,680 fine and be liable for an additional $17,320 if he operates another pirate station within the next 20 years or is found to have misled the Commission about his current financial status.
PLASENCIA operated unlicensed stations on 101.9 and 107.3 FM in MIAMI; the fine was reduced from $20,000 due to inability to pay.
