Full Lineup Of Performers Unveiled For CMT 'Artists Of The Year' Special

CARRIE UNDERWOOD with MADDIE & TAE and RUNAWAY JUNE; MIRANDA LAMBERT with PISTOL ANNIES; KELSEA BALLERINI with ALISON KRAUSS; KAREN FAIRCHILD and KIMBERLY SCHLAPMAN with GLADYS KNIGHT; and HILLARY SCOTT with TORI KELLY and KIRK FRANKLIN will all perform during the upcoming first-ever all-female CMT-TV "ARTISTS OF THE YEAR" special. The event will premiere WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 17th on CMT-TV at 8p (ET) (NET NEWS 9/11). Additionally, MAREN MORRIS will join with BRANDI CARLILE to pay tribute to the late ARETHA FRANKLIN.

The 90-minute program will honor CARRIE UNDERWOOD, MIRANDA LAMBERT, KELSEA BALLERINI, MAREN MORRIS, KAREN FAIRCHILD and KIMBERLY SCHLAPMAN of LITTLE BIG TOWN, and LADY ANTEBELLUM's HILLARY SCOTT, as well LORETTA LYNN as the "Artist Of A Lifetime" (NET NEWS 9/25). In addition to the special, CMT will continue to champion Country music women through a day-long "WOMEN OF COUNTRY MUSIC" takeover across all CMT platforms the same day.
