NPR has announced three new recipients of the NPR KROC Fellowships, a yearlong program for developing new public media journalists, a product of the late JOAN KROC's bequest to the network.
Joining NPR as KROC Fellows are UNIVERSITY OF WASHINGTON graduate and KUOW/SEATTLE "BATTLE TACTICS FOR YOUR SEXIST WORKPLACE" podcast producer MAYOWA AINA; IOWA STATE UNIVERSITY graduate and former SIOUXLAND PUBLIC MEDIA weekend host and KURE/AMES, IA News and Talk Director HENRY (HANK) ZIMMERMAN; and BROWN UNIVERSITY graduate and MIAMI HERALD intern REBECCA ELLIS.
