NORTH CAROLINA natives the AVETT BROTHERS will headline the “CONCERT FOR HURRICANE FLORENCE RELIEF” at EASTERN CAROLINA UNIVERSITY’s MINGES COLISEUM in GREENVILLE, NC on TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 13th, 2018. FUTURE ISLANDS and VALIENT THORR, also with connections to NORTH CAROLINA, will perform in the benefit show, as well.
SETH AVETT said, "We are honored by the opportunity to contribute to our friends and neighbors affected by HURRICANE FLORENCE. We hope this performance not only provides some financial relief for victims of the storm, but also is an occasion to celebrate the resilience of the people of NORTH CAROLINA. We can’t wait to return to the eastern part of the state!"
ECU Chancellor CECIL STATON said, “It’s an honor to be able to contribute our facilities and the talents of our staff to help raise funds for HURRICANE FLORENCE victims. We are so thankful to THE AVETT BROTHERS for their willingness to do this for our region of the state. We are particularly proud to be welcoming one of our own, SCOTT AVETT and other ECU Alumni, back to campus. We are proud of SCOTT’s incredible career and accomplishments, and gratified he and others are willing to do this show at ECU for hurricane relief efforts.”
